Ward has already done it.Bobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12473536605527134659noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4126451417395202308.post-10213160965970272042009-02-14T18:05:00.000-05:002009-02-14T18:05:00.000-05:00I'd rather have #44 getting the snaps. Since I want to see what is 'under the hood,' the only way that is apparently going to happen is with Ward gone.Andy F.https://www.blogger.com/profile/07020742034297033233noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4126451417395202308.post-19018835033529290112009-02-14T17:49:00.000-05:002009-02-14T17:49:00.000-05:00Despite the "conventional wisdom",I real...Despite the "conventional wisdom",
I really hope they can work something out with Ward also. Ward lead the team with 1400+ yds from scrimmage and was a very solid receiver coming out of the backfield.

The combination of him & jacobs is an incredible force on the ground.Bobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12473536605527134659noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4126451417395202308.post-62317285838847291402009-02-14T10:04:00.000-05:002009-02-14T10:04:00.000-05:00With Burress missing Jacobs became more instrument...With Burress missing Jacobs became more instrumental to the Giants success.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4126451417395202308.post-61674170191394683352009-02-14T09:10:00.000-05:002009-02-14T09:10:00.000-05:00We are all seeing what a terrific GM Jerry Reese i...We are all seeing what a terrific GM Jerry Reese is. This is a wonderful "win-win" deal for the G-Men. They have dangled the carrot in front of Jacobs, and he does not seem unhappy.

Let us all see in July when training camp begins if #27 is still happy. That bears watching.

Part of being "great" is not only being productive as a player ( which Brandon is ) but the ability to stay on the field. My concern is the fact that Brandon has played only 75% of the games these past 2 seasons. I think that is what is going into the minds of Giants management. If he can prove that he can carry the mail next season....then he will get his deal.Mitchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02151576898703507305noreply@blogger.com
