    ReplyDelete
  9. we need to set-up a counter....they are very aggressive to the ball right now...looks like gilbride is setting up some playaction...he has been all over the place

    ReplyDelete
  10. told you so, first play was a counter

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  17. hey BRIAN am i crazy? do you not see the need for speed?

    ReplyDelete
  18. the only good part is that we still get 5 or 6 even tho everyone knows its coming

Play action to boss there goes big

    ReplyDelete
  19. you have to jump clean over you cannot climb on the back of the center i seen that called before, or am i misinterpreting the rule

    ReplyDelete
  20. definitely need more speed

That counted to ward worked great

Enough Jacobs tiptoeing on the outside

    ReplyDelete
  21. the offense just looks like crap today

    ReplyDelete
  22. not sure what the rule is

    Jesus go upfield hixon!

    ReplyDelete
  23. I dont know if Hixon is feeling some pressure today or something...but he just looks awful between the drop and his punt returns.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Gilbride no over using the PLAYACTION so that is still a available....Offense is still having the same trouble as last week, get cross the oppents 50 and slow down

    ReplyDelete
  25. thats going to be good for the field position battle...if d can hold, agian

wassup with the missed rough housing in the eagles secondary?

    ReplyDelete
  26. enough with the distraction crap...Purres shot em self not HIXON

    ReplyDelete
  27. thats whould of been an easy stop why did phillips give up his feet...it was no need to sell out, he had about 7 more yards to get

    ReplyDelete
  28. Phillips wiffs on a tackle...this team is just making mistakes they never make.

    Not gonna be our day.

    ReplyDelete
  29. first time I've seen Phillips blow a tackle like that
very poor execution today by the giants

    ReplyDelete
  30. The Eagles want this game more....the Giants are playing with zero intensity. Totally flat.

    ReplyDelete
  31. who am i watching...where have the G-men gone?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Mike flat is the best way to describe the D...its like almost every play we are there but the play isnt made

    ReplyDelete
  33. eli needs not the throgh a loafer in this weather

    ReplyDelete
  34. there was the loaf atleast it went out of bounds

    ReplyDelete
  35. I dont know what else to say. Smith was a huge drop there.

This team wasnt prepared to play today.

    ReplyDelete
  36. with the 3 key drop passes i dont wanna here about distractions crap...guys are just not executing...

    ReplyDelete
  37. whooooooooooo

We get to be the team hanging around for once!

    ReplyDelete
  38. WOW!! Talk about a game-changing play!

That totally turns this game around....

    ReplyDelete
  39. i hope that play warms up the recievers hands and these nuts catch the ball this second half...d-fense is playing OK could be better...offense is all over the place, the 2 three and out drives were called bad, but guys are dropping passes

thats play just gave us some much needed life

    ReplyDelete
  40. phillips made up for the miss tackle with the black he made on LJ smith during the return...good hustle i think he blocked 2 ppl

    ReplyDelete
  41. strahan said it at the half...guys have to tackle, there are getting to the ball, just have to make the tackles....pressure is looking good most of the time, Mcnabb is just getting rid of the ball

    ReplyDelete
  42. I think the playcalling has been subpar...but to be fair, if Hixon doesnt drop that ball he has an 85 yard TD. And if Smith doesnt drop that 4th down pass, we at least have a good chance to get some points.

    ReplyDelete
  43. we have to get TDs FG are going to be almost impossible

    ReplyDelete
  44. wassup with all the way-off coverage?

    ReplyDelete
  45. another 3rd down...we have to get off the field

    ReplyDelete
  46. spags might have to start dialing it up...mcnabb is chillin

    ReplyDelete
  47. they are letting philly hold on every pass play this drive

    ReplyDelete
  48. Another block!! our special teams is saving this game

    ReplyDelete
  49. go to B-shaw...i wanna see if his speed can make a diff....

    ReplyDelete
  50. brown brown brown

That looked bad that he couldnt put any weight on it

    ReplyDelete
  51. lol ward has lateral movement? what? put #44 in

    ReplyDelete
  52. we have to make them punt from inside the 30...field position is going to be key while we have the wind

    ReplyDelete
  53. I havent seen the Giants offense look this bad since the Kanell/Kent Graham era....

    ReplyDelete
  54. no more first...dont lose the field position

    ReplyDelete
  55. tuck got absolutely mugged on that play

    ReplyDelete
  56. we are just not making the initial tackles....guys gotta wrap up

    ReplyDelete
  57. this drive is becoming crucial...d-fense is on the dirt to long

    ReplyDelete
  58. horrible we give them back the momentum again

    ReplyDelete
  59. spags has to get creative...we are not getting pressure with just 4.....

    ReplyDelete
  60. i cannot believe THIS offense has no points...when we had the ball nothing...we cannot allow a TD folks if we do i think it is probably done

    ReplyDelete
  61. the D just look bad....same ish all day

    ReplyDelete
  62. the D just look bad....same ish all day

    ReplyDelete
  63. 1000 3rd down pass plays and the same thing... how about a REAL DAVE BROWING blitz for a change...im seeing the same thing over and over on 3rd

    ReplyDelete
  64. look at our sack totals from the last 4-6 weeks, its a joke outside of Tuck the rest of the guys must be getting a lil worn down.....cant figure out why we have not been able to get sacks

    ReplyDelete
  65. quick strike TD is the wasy to stay in it...hurry up O maybe

    ReplyDelete
  66. with the lack of running room why would he wait till now to put in Jacobs....why is ELI getting desperate?

    ReplyDelete
  67. what a play by hix

    Eli almost hot him killed

    ReplyDelete
  68. we look very sloppy both sides of the ball

    ReplyDelete
  69. why do they keep running to the outside when philly is weak up the middle

    ReplyDelete
  70. horrible horrible call just browning run it up the gut

    ReplyDelete
  71. GILBRIDE sux...why why is he our coach again? tell me one reason...he has STUNK it up today (not all his fault) but his daily grade is an f...why the heeck didint he run the ball for the first? i yard?

    ReplyDelete
  72. i heard he was a candidate for the syracuse job

Please god let it be true

    ReplyDelete
  73. ANDY REID has out coached Spags today 10 of 11 on third? you gotta be kidding me....GILBRIDE sux....

    ReplyDelete
  74. 4 and 1 shotgun...who are we the 90's Oilers?

Gilbride is calling the RUN and SHOOT offense, i knew i saw it before...he frigging sux...he called a good game last week but we couldnt get in the endzone, now this week he is all over the place...thats 4th and 1 sums up what GILBRIDE is...a putz...that drive was a chance to atleast score and put some pressure on PHI. the O gave us nothing....as bad as the D played they have only allowed 17 points....

of course with a DALLAS lost it kind of ease the pain of the lost...but ive been saying it all year we win DESPITE GILBRIDE so dont say om just jumping on him now...he stinks he can take his Spread Offense to NoWhere University and try it there

    ReplyDelete
  75. 0 points with this offense lol GILBRIDE is a joke can a GILBRIDE fan please tell me whats 2day was about

    ReplyDelete
  76. HAHA 4th and 1 shotgun pass lol GILBRIDE stinks

    ReplyDelete
  77. Nature

Its fine to put blame on the coaches. But blame the players too---if Hixon makes a simple catch he has an 85 yard TD. Smith drops a huge 4th down pass. The running game outside of a few runs did nothing.

The D-line was getting pushed back by the Eagles O-line. No pass rush. Westbrook running free all day.

Nobody played well today--the team deserved to lose.

    ReplyDelete
  78. they need to let PLAX go and ARREST Gilbride lol

    ReplyDelete
  79. Mike
I agree that everyone played bad but Gilbrown didn't help. Nature is 100% correct, they win dispite Gil, not because.

    ReplyDelete
  80. they need to let PLAX go and ARREST Gilbride lol

    That is extremly funny.

    ReplyDelete
  81. if i was a philly fan id be losing my mind right now

    ReplyDelete
  82. if you where a phily fan, you would not have a mind.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Mike i know we had some droped passes but GILBRIDE just stinks dude we have 0 points...how ever bad you think the D played the O played 100 times worst than that..they only have 20 points i know we were not the normal intense D but they only allowed 20 (17 when it really mattered) the offense didnt sniff the endzone (when it mattered) after the Eagles TD we should of run the hurry (check my earlier post) no since of urgency to me then to top it off with the 4th and 1

    ReplyDelete
  84. and umm lets not try to pile on HIXON ...PLax has dropped big passes also, as far as i am concerned he made up for the drop a showed HANDS are not a problem for him...GILBRIDE

  85. That was the ugliest game we've played since last year against Minnesota. The wind was awful, the playcalling didn't take it into consideration, on defense we did too much to stop the pass when Westbrook is by far their best playmaker. We beat ourselves. The offense looked out of step and the playcalling wasn't effective. The defense was actually fine for most of the game but they were on the field for the whole damn thing, the fact that they only allowed 20 pts speaks highly of them. This loss is actually good, we needed a reality check. We've been winning with momentum for the last couple games cuz our running game has been stopped. We've gotta start running more three step drop west coast style passing plays. Steve Smith should start over Hixon I think. Hixon is great but I'd rather have smith out there moving the chains and giving the RB's running room. Also, why didn't we see more bradshaw? Why didn't we see more screen passes to Ward? If we had worked the game like that, this would have been a 'W.' We need to change our strategy. Also, when will Webster, Ross and Jacobs be able to play again? Their injuries seem serious. I don't think we'll really see any of them until the playoffs. Terrell Thomas is very good, but Dockery is not enough, especially if Sam Madison can't play. We might only win one more game this year if these players are out. I just can't see us beating Dallas or Carolina without them. What worries me most is that our pass rush was TERRIBLE. After the first quarter, McNabb could have taken a nap in the pocket. Awful awful awful game. Just hidious. However, despite all this, I think our boys will regroup and this will give them the nudge they need to close out the season with strength.

  86. We already had our wakeup call, it's called the browns game. We need to run the ball but without Plax we have not been able to do so. I don't know the answer. Correct, we need a new offensive coordinator to take advantage of #44 like the eagles did with #36 today against us.

  87. Andrew, that was a terrific recap, you stole my thunder. I think you hit most, if not all, of the points. I will be doing a recap over the next 30-60 mins, just got back from the game, but we were hitting the same pts that Andrew mentioned.

    ReplyDelete
  88. I thought Andrew was Andy. Yes, he hit every point spot on.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Thank you. That game made me tense so I had a lot of tension to get out. I can gauge how well the Giants played on a given day by how many cigarettes I smoke while watching. Lemme just put it this way... my ash tray is full. This is the worst kinda loss... you can't win if you don't have the ball. They beat us the way we beat them last time. They controlled possession, stopped the run and played conservatively on offense. Btw Cowboys look like they are going to beat Pittsburgh. Next week, with the taste of victory in the NFC East in our mouths, and the motivation caused by this awful loss in our hearts, the G-Men are gonna pound it next week. That being said, the Cowboys are hungry for that playoff spot... but because we are playing in Dallas and not in the windy meadowlands, surrounded by the new york media... I give the edge to us, and say we clinch it next week 31-20
