NYG-TB Intragame Comments

We've heard it mentioned no less than a half dozen times this week that this is a "trap" game. Bullbrown. THIS IS NOT A TRAP GAME. When your team is hit hard by injuries, gets GASHED for 250 YDS (!) in the running game, gives up 31 points the prior week, cannot make any conversions in the red zone all season, there are NO ILLUSIONS that the Giants are a very good team right now. Trap games occur when GOOD teams who are playing WELL have a letdown vs a bad team. The Giants know they are not playing well, so if they lose it will not be because they were 'trapped'... it will be because they did not fix A LOT of problems from last week that they are FULLY AWARE OF.

If the Giants
1) play better run defense
2) get better red zone efficiency
3) get modest coverage at Safety
they will win the game.

  2. like we all say, every time Bradshaw touches the ball he is a threat to take it to the house. our second visit to the red zone..

  5. it's raining! what a boost for the Giants (thin) defensive line.

  6. When the idiot announcers talk about how the Giants don't have a game breaking WR I take it as a good thing. Its code for no d-bag primadonnas.

  7. pounding them to setup the pass should work against this bucs team....dont think they are gonna lay and die....they are gonna fight if we dont score TDs

  8. what will we do when FEAGLES says enough

  9. that third down pass to Manningham ruled incomplete was actually complete, but they ruled it incomplete. he had possession when he came down with it, bad call. Manningham gets separation vs single coverage all day long.

  17. That is twice in two possessions that I have seen Osi go TOO wide on his pass rush, LACK OF POCKET CONTAIN. Leftwich too slow, but this series it DOES buy him time.

  18. he can hold if he wants....as long as that #25 jersey doesnt say Mcquarters

  19. over under 250 yards as a team on the ground?

  20. Bradshaw needs to stay in on Goal to go

    ReplyDelete
  21. I would love to see a screen to Bradshaw. His quickness will kill them.

  22. #44 is doing it, u guys are right, he is so effective. even the Fox guys see that.

  23. Is Jacobs hurt? He's just not the same guy. Bradshaw is obviously better today.

  27. how great is that guy? he missed an extra point,,,,this is becoming a joke. no team in the league keeps teams in the game like we do

  28. Tynes is embarrassing, his kickoffs brown, this missed FG is (as Nature says) a missed extra point. How can he make a ~47 yder one week and miss an extra pointer the next?

Yes, Jacobs looks very slow out there.

Manningham is open all day. He could have 200 yds if they keep passing to him.

  30. Damn, what is with Tynes, He's never been automatic...every kick is an adventure, his kickoffs might as well be onsides attempts they only go a little bit further. I hope Reese drafts a kicker next spring.

  31. This game is a textbook example of the Giants winning in spite of their OC. Killdrive has, after a 1st down incomplete or run for 0 or a loss of yards run the ball on 2nd down. He has done it 100% of the time this game. The other team knows it's coming and you must give credit to the Giants Oline for being able to do something with this.

  32. Why did we give Tynes a 3 year big money contract? That was a mistake by Reese.

What is going on with Jacobs? He lines up in St. Petersburg for a snap and tiptoes to the line. Geez...put your head down and run through the hole!

    G-d I love Bradshaw.

I guess TC doesn't trust Barden yet...

  33. that missed FG is pissing me off, strahan: "you've got to score more points because the good (opponents) will come back"

Just saw some Sanchez highlights, Terry Bradshaw: "this kid does not play like a rookie"

    ReplyDelete
  34. That is two 3rd down stops by Bruce Johnson, did I miss any others?!!!

    ReplyDelete
  35. First down Incomplete, second down run, i'm shocked.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Jacobs way too slow, he runs almost an identical play that Baradshaw runs, gets half the yardage because the hole closes up.

    ReplyDelete
  37. What kind of play call is that Gilbride? 3rd & 10....and another draw. Take a freakin' shot!

    ReplyDelete
  38. I love Bradshaw, but how about a Kevin Faulk type pass out in the flat, a flare.. and let him make someone miss? 2-4 in the red zone.

    ReplyDelete
  39. what the hell is KILLDROVE doing? go for the kill you fool....i cant believe this idiot...GILBRIDE is an IDIOT

    ReplyDelete
  40. Is Tynes hurt? he barely got the ball to 15-20 yard line, it did not look intentional

    ReplyDelete
  41. Wow, Beatty subs for McKenzie, not Boothe, interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  42. ugh Seubert noww too, no more injuries!

    ReplyDelete
  43. that, my friends, is a catch. and another desperate attempt by a coach who has run out of things to do besides challenging the play.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Is this game suspended, my ESPN gamecast has a 3 and 8 w/ aBuc TO for a loooong time now!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Awright, a TD from the red zone...and to our brightest star Manningham!

  46. Good play Sinorice! And great throw from Eli...he's making all of our WRs look good.

    ReplyDelete
  47. My bad, Moss! Good for him anyway, he needs some touches too...and Tynes converted...check my lotto tix next!
