Showtime Phil Simms Week 15

Where do you find Phil Simms? You find him on the Showtime link, but you also find him here on the Ultimatenyg New York Giants blog.

1) NYG at DAL. "Dallas will beat the NY Giants."

"IF Dallas can make the playoffs (thinks they will), I believe they are a big time threat to the NY Giants because they are one of the few teams that are big enough and strong enough to just go in there and slug it out with them."

(Re last weekend's game) "Weather is the great equalizer of talent."

2) DEN at CAR. Despite the mon night hangover factor, likes the Carolina Panthers, big and strong and will find a way to win it.

3) TB at ATL. Veteran QB Garcia vs a rookie QB Ryan, going with the veteran QB, Tampa Bay.

4) BUF at NYG. Bills have speed but not showing up, Jets will have some success throwing the ball downfield and win a close game.

I would like to see more of Mario and Ware. I have no idea of how good they r but this would be a great time to see what they have. And I don't want to see another end around.

Your wish will be granted tomorrow, if not sparingly. Ware will be activated. Bradshaw is not 100% and obvly w Jacobs out I suspect Ware will get a few touches because Ward is going to need a break. As for Manningham, the Giants believe in his abilities, but his lack of training camp (hurt) did not help him one bit. With Burress out of the picture, this is going to be a 2009 story. The Giants are going to try to make it a 2008 story, but I admit to being skeptical- his routes are not there yet. Perhaps with Hixon missing a lot of practice, Manningham saw more throws from Manning, so one can hope this bodes well, that he made the most of those opportunities. Obvly the Giants coaches want to him to be further along than he is. ME? Like others on this site have already suggested, I would use him on first down of a new series just to allow Hixon to return kickoffs. Or put Moss out there... at this point this team needs Hixon on kickoffs, period.
