3 minutes and we hit the snee son in law comment., jacobs just ran over ray lewis, wooo whooo

Brian said...

Jacobs is a man playing with boys

Gilbride's play calls are as predictable as ever

Lucky for us we were good enough to beat them down the field that drive even when its obvious what's coming

Andy F. said...

was that Ward who had the big blitz pickup on the 21 yard pass to Burress on 3rd and 15? i think so, someone just confirm that, thanks

Andy F. said...

Giants 12th man helped with Flacco needing to burn a TO.

Brian said...

Jacobs is destroying them!

They better not go into prevent!

Andy F. said...

ravens making a big mistake in trying to tackle Jacobs high, perhaps it is an ego thing, but it is killing them and Giants r up 13-0. all the nfc east teams know this, the ravens will have to adjust, i am quite honestly very surprised that they could make such an elementary mistake

Daniel said...

I'm with you Andy, the Giants are just playing hard-nosed NFC East football, which is something the Ravens do pretty well. I don't understand how the Ravens are just being walked on like this.

On a sidenote, I think we need to start a pool, over/under five minutes of game time for the first reference to Snee being Coughlin's son-in-law. Though five minutes might be too long, everyone will just take the under.

Andy F. said...

great run by Wards... would 44 have been gone? maybe?!!!!

Nature said...

late check in but im here........i cant believe what im seeing right now, our offensive line is BLOWING the RAVEN AWAY, even when BIG MAC went out... i think i just let out a tear lol

Ten minutes to play in the 2Q and the Gmen have 103 yds. rushing. Who woulda thunk it?

Brian said...

Jacobs in the locker room any one got any info?

Good thing we have 3 RB1

Andy F. said...

this OL gave manning time for a ham sandwich back there, finds Johnson TE in endzone, nice red zone conversion

Nature said...

i think we should give Bradshaw some love a little bit earlier today

Andy F. said...

dierdorf is an OL guy, and he is fawning over the Giants OL

Nature said...

what the DAVE BROWN is going on with the kicking team?

Nature said...

Dan D. is #2 on my list of calling games behind the king J Madden, i think Dan should be on Monday night football and get Kornheiser out of there

Nature said...

why are we playing so far off in coverage, there is no speed on the outside

Brian said...

wind is really bad swirling with sustained 20 and gusting very tough on kickoffs it will effect Balt to if they ever kick off!

The botched pat was just a bad snap

Craig said...

know what would be nice, a sack

Brian said...

I agree nature they need to be jamming the Brown out of Mason and clayton at the line

Nature said...

plax has been playing terrible for the last 3-4 games, what the DAVE BROWN wrong with him, and i officially hate the first and second down SHOTGUN

Brian said...

we should get the run play on 2nd down after a loss or no gain on a first down pass officially named the Gilbride

Daniel said...

Craig is right. The Giants are too concerned with playing the Ravens' run, though, to get enough pressure on Flacco. Hopefully in the second half the Ravens give up on the running game and the Giants' D-line can pin their ears back and get after Flacco.

Andy F. said...

the ravens offense is doing there best to use those pesky screens and reverses to slow down the overpursuit and passrush, to help flacco out. spags is too smart for that stuff.

Andy F. said...

U Texas!!!

Nature said...

i must say this ihope you guys understand...ELI MANNING is a grown man, i mean each weak this guys is making veteran decision

Brian said...

wow twice in a row with the hatd count!

Craig said...

hes a man, hes 40

Nature said...

as i say that he takes a piss on the side of the toilet

Andy F. said...

as far as eli has come, he still telegraphs and does not look off the safety. in this case he did not look off LB underneath, who usually is not a factor, but then again Lewis not your ordinary LBer. this is how Darren Sharper makes his living off of Eli.

Nature said...

with a 17 point lead we have to get sacks in the second half...offensse is going to need 2-3 big plays in this second half to make sure this one is in the bag

Nature said...

no turnovers, i dont think they can beat us if we dont turn it over this half

Andy F. said...

this was the rrpk predictable offense that gilbrown was doing in the bengal game. u can get away with it when u r up 20-3, but the giants were sleepwalking thru that possession. all of a sudden the ravens defense believes in itself for a glimmer of hope. defense has to give them no oxygen.

Andy F. said...

motherbrowner, flacco has burned us for two first downs

Nature said...

what is with the pressure? 2 weeks in a row

Andy F. said...

who missed that tackle?

Nature said...

feel like i say every week, the middle of our passing d-fense is like a 7-11

Andy F. said...

okay, 20-10, time for Gilbrown to start playing his offense again

Brian said...

awful awful

Nature said...

now the 1-or 2 of you who like Gilbride let see what ya guy has...

Andy F. said...

this is wonder's point, that w/o a pass rush, our pass defense is mediocre. a few plays before the td, when they got the first down on the pass to the ~7 yd line, they bunched up the routes and our zone lost BOTH guys in coverage, flacco has his choice of either wide open for first down underneath or td on right side

Nature said...

hope that ELI pick doesnt come back to bite us

Andy F. said...

allright, the conservative bs has let them back in this game, stop trying to mailing this in and play 60 mins

Andy F. said...

now THAT is a great play call on first down, NOT a run

Andy F. said...

this was the Ravens run defense we expected

Nature said...

Ward's lack of LATERAL movement is what holds him back

Andy F. said...

challenge this, no INT

Nature said...

why the refs like to F up calls with us, we has to maintain possesion all the way, do the refs change the rules every week? why must a challange be wasted you have to maintain possesion just like a wide reciever.....

when do we get BAD CALLS go our way?

Nature said...

GIANTS need to be ashamed of some of these penalties...here we go again fast start slow finish by the offense, ask yourself why?

Andy F. said...

ravens field position at the 30 yard line, almost like a TO, the touchback, the penalty for tripping. GET PRESSURE ON FLACCO, SACK HIM.

Nature said...

we need this 3 and out

Nature said...

dangerous pass rush? a rookie drops back 25 times and no sacks?

Andy F. said...

U Texas

Nature said...

aaron ross making a plays hmmm who would of guessed it. that one was for "WONDER" haha

Nature said...

are they scared to tackle FLACCO? ohh no here comes FLACCO...you gotta be kidding me lol

Andy F. said...

not rocket science, contain the pocket or else Flacco is going to keep burning them on these ANNOYING QB runs

Brian said...

Finally some pass rush!

Andy F. said...

motherbrowning lucky we did not muff that punt, I did not see the replay but there might be a challenge in this during this tv timeout

Nature said...

why no JAILHOUSE blitzing yet? rookie QB....go get em

Andy F. said...

brian, ur so right, finally some pass rush by the front 4. gilbrown pls seal this, do not do the rrpk or the rrrk

Nature said...

it hits us look like to me just rewound it

Nature said...

what i SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY go go go go go go go go go....he ran out of gas at the end

Nature said...

now boys and girl dou you see what lateral movement can get you...to light scoots to the right and gone...WARD nor JACOBS can do that WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!1

Andy F. said...

is there ANY DOUBT WHO THE BEST BACK ON THIS TEAM IS? he took zero and made a GREAT run out of that!!!! #44 woooohooo!

Brian said...

Bradshaw!!!!!!!!

Ray Lewis got owned!!

ABrad broke his ankles with that cut back.

Nature said...

we have THE BEAST oofensive like in the league we need 3 pro bowlers this year off the line

Daniel said...

I love this stat, just saw on CBS: Most Rushing YPG allowed by Baltimore: 76

Last play: 77 yards

My name is Daniel, and I'm a Bradshawlic.

Nature said...

i told you...maybe PLAX is having sex before the game or finishing him self off just not on his game lately....

Nature said...

there is that horrile play the call for #44 i cant believe it thats it...GILBRIDE MUST GO

Nature said...

My name is Nature, and I'm a Bradshawlic, but im here to say we all need to start drinking the KOOL-AID...or Flavor-Aid, remember Flavor-Aid? cant believe a used to drink it

Andy F. said...

My name is Andy, I bought the #44 jersey earlier this week, and I am a BRADSHAWLIC!

Brian said...

No prevent!!!!

Keep your foot on thier throats big blue!

Nature said...

they are scared to drop back and pass

Nature said...

they are scared to drop back and pass

Nature said...

my BRADSHAW jersey is on its way...

Brian said...

I like that the rest of our schedule is against winning teams no chance for a game where we play down to a bad team

Nature said...

now we should start sending the house....send a message to the rest of the league...NO MERCY

Nature said...

waaaaay to many penalties today for us

Nature said...

bout time the PLAYOFFS start we are going to be the most battle tested team hands down

Nature said...

eureka we got a SACK

Andy F. said...

game over when lit

Brian said...

Nice to ice it with a sack

Nature said...

i hope #44 goes over the century mark 2day

Andy F. said...

so ross has a strianed calf, mckenzie out with some kind of hand xray?, jacobs out in H2 with something?

Nature said...

Bradshaw is just a beast, i think he is going to get his 100 yards

Craig said...

other than his one rush, bradshaw has 7 carries for 13 yards, hes a great home run threat but not consistent enough

Nature said...

#44 runs harder than JACOBS

Nature said...

no dont kneel he need 4 yards noooooooooooo

Nature said...

is that what we do now? take away a persons best play and then say they are not good enough? barry sanders was the same way, not saying he is sanders but what he can do in 1 run JACOBS, nor WARD can do, ya get it?

Nature said...

and lets not forget Fabian Washington runs a 4.3 so him getting run down doesnt mean much

Nature said...

i want wo see #44 get 25 carries in a game how bout that?

Craig said...

im saying hes not consistent. its like in baseball, you got 1 for 4 with a home run. other than the one run he didnt do anything amazing. i love him, but im not ready to crown him the next great running back like everyone else. id rather have consistently good running than feast or famine. he needs to get 10 carries a game for now. with 25 carries he'll get one huge run and a bunch of 2-3 yard runs. until i see him getting 6 yard runs more than 2 yard runs, im not gonna crown him.

Mitch said...

9-1 Baby!!!!

We still haven't played our best game yet.

How bad is CBS and Gumbel?....He doesn't realize that Ross's pick for a TD was his 2nd of the day. (After the TD he says it's Ross's first of the season and never gets back to correcting) They never realized that Jacobs limped off the field after his 1st TD with a blow to the knee. Real good investigative reporting there. Simms would have added so much more.....but who cares we are 9-1. This team is awesome.. Love the fact we put 200 yds on the Ravens.

And yes....My name is Mitch and I'm a Bradshawlic!

Andy F. said...

craig, #44 gets his carries at a time in the game when there might as well be a neon light flashing across his body saying "it's going to me." on the carries where there is no hole he manufactures yards because he gets back to the line of scrimmage quickly, and on the ones with gaping holes he can go the distance. On his monster run today, he had ~2 yards in it, he manufactured the other 75 yds.

As for him being inconsistent, if he is going to get the ball in more normal playing conditions where there is a normal mix, he gets meat and potatoes 4 and 6 yard runs. The best example of this was against TB, where he saw a lot of playing time in prime time and took losses of 2 and made them gains of 4, took 2 yarders and made them 6 yarders. No, he is not Barry Sanders or Marshall Faulk. But he is the real deal.

Mitch said...

btw...

Shockey 6 catches for 39 yds, and his longest reception was for 11 yds. He is an afterthought in that offense...and rightly so....but who cares....9-1 Baby!

Seems to me that Carolina @ (8-2) will be the biggest game for us down the road.

Mitch said...

Don't worry all is not bad in Baltimore. They can proudly say they have now not allowed a 100 yd rusher in 29 straight games!

Craig said...

im agreeing with you, i like him and he can be great. im just tired of everybody making him seem like the best rb in the league. i cant count numerous times when jacobs hits the pile and end up getting 3 more yards and ward is great catching the ball out of the back field.

and another thing. everyone does it, when jacobs gets a 20 yard run someone always says, 44 would have scored, maybe the defense plays it different, or maybe that arm tackle that jacobs runs through, slows 44 down and get tackled. just cause jacobs doesnt have break away speed doesnt mean the hole is there for bradshaw.

dont get me wrong i love bradshaw, but as of now he is a lethal change of pace back. I dont think he can take the pounding of getting 25 carries a game, maybe he can but i havent seen it yet. i would love to see him in the 1st quarter though.

just as you "nitpick" after a win, im just doing the same. next year i would love to see BJ and AB, i wouldnt resign ward.

Craig said...

oh just remembered, 1st drive, jacobs is stopped in the back field, ends up with 25 yards or so. Bradshaw isnt the only one who can make something out of nothing. i love all 3 of them the same amount. bradshaw is the future, but BJ and DW are possible the best 1-2 and they are def the best 1-2-3 backs in the league

Andy F. said...

we won't know until we see #44 get the kind of carries to truly compare. as for not handling the load of 25 carries per game, they said the same thing about Tiki. Only time will tell on that one as well, he could get injured (frequently) w that kind of load, we don't know, no one knows. This is obvly a good problem to have. As for bouncing out after trouble, it was great to see Jacobs do that, a rarity, because when he did, there was NO ONE from the Ravens on the back side because they know he does not do that. Good to see. Ward and Bradshaw are much more capable in that regard, they simply have less power than Jacobs and more quickness. The bottom line for me is that their skills need to be managed better by Gilbrown. Last week against the smaller/quicker DL of the Eagles, we saw how valuable #27 was. Against a slower and more physical line like the Steelers (and Ravens) I prefer Ward and Bradshaw more (not all, just more) than the snaps they get. The red zone probs of the Giants vs the Steelers have become less prevalent when the Giants started using Ward more in those situations at the end of that game and in future games.
