Insert comments here for Dallas-Giants game

I'm at the airport in Austin TX right now (probably watching the beginning of the game at a bar with a bunch of Dallas fans before I board my flight). Won't be back until midnight. Please supply any and all color to the group.

Two whole passes to the Tight End in one drive? Now that's an innovative offense!

c dub showing good hands....andy if your on a non-work related trip you should punish yourself with a recording i have of a DAVE BROWN game vs. the COWBOYS

First career touchdown for Steve Smith? That's what Joe Buck is saying, I was pretty sure he had scored last year, but regardless, a great play-call from Gilbride inside the red zone. Shotgun passing. I think Nature's right, I think Gilbride really was reading this blog. It's the only explanation. Another pass to Boss on the drive, too (he dropped it, but still). A lot of passing going on, and Eli absolutely stepping up.

But can I nitpick for a second and ask this general question: Is anyone else sick and tired of watching Carney's kickoffs fielded on the 10-15 yard line, every time?

gilbride has to get the damn plays in faster sheesh

Nature said...

yes the kickoffs are well short of average

Nature said...

i cant believe that...those are young/rookie mistakes...communication should not be ELI/Burress prob ever

Nature said...

eli looking rattled

Nature said...

yeah he is definitely rattled

i think we are the best (as a team) at keeping teams in the game

Nature said...

im sorry but Brad JOHNSON just sucks....i hope GILBRIDE understands how important 6 is right now...not 3

Eli gotta calm down

Nature said...

i think the DALLAS timeout helped ELI calm down great pass great catch for 6

Eli not so good, but Killbride is not taking what has been given. Their success has been slants and over the LBs. Dallas' safeties are overmatched.

Brad J really sucks.

Daniel...
how bout that kickoff after TOOMER touchdown

Nature said...

look at Coughlin being agressive getting the timeout

Nature said...

i hope Gilbride comes out wit the the mindset of the score being EVEN.....defense keep up the pressure and watch a the MIDDLE of the field on D-fense

Nature said...

holy sh!t the QB situation is getting funny for the cowgirls

I love the Cowboys today. I can't believe they went to Brooks Bollinger. And of course his first pass is picked off.

And yeah, Nature, that kickoff was kind of embarrassing. I can't take much more of this. I know the defense is good, but with opposing offenses ALWAYS starting around the 35 is going to bite the Giants at some point.

i think its time to get JACOBS some well deserved rest... the fresher the more of the 3 back threath....get #44 the ball this half i hope....

Nature said...

damn I was typing it while he was saying it D. Clark is playing very well...first time OLB jumped off the screen

Nature said...

i really think if we don't BLOW them away we are doing ourselves a disservice

Nature said...

lol tackiling the QB with full body weight? that has gotta be the funniest shit ever

That really was a completely bogus penalty. I don't even know what that means. Like Troy Aikman, I don't know if there's anything else the D lineman can do at that point. Let's just stop the charade and put the red shirt on the quarterback, and have the referee count to five Mississippi to determine whether or not the QB got the ball off or was sacked.

Troy Aikmen is gonna brake a record for number of references to tiki barber in one game

Gilbride attacked the Cowboys defense early and often in this game. They used multiple 3 and 4 wide sets, and threw the ball a lot on first and second down. They didn't have too many third or fourth downs in this game, so I don't know what they would have done on those downs.

The defense was, as always, tenacious and the front four made the job a lot easier for the back seven.

They called off the dogs with about 6 minutes to go in the game, leading by 21.

Overall a great game. I really expected the Cowboys to come out and play the Giants really tough, but the Giants were just too good for that. They almost let the Cowboys back into the game, but the offense picked up the defense after a long Cowboys drive by coming back and scoring a big momentum changing touchdown.

This is the first time I ever remember seeing a Dallas team quit. When the outcome was apparent the Cowgirls wanted no part of the Giants. They quit tackling. Amazing! I know the Cowgirls were banged up but their O-Line, which is the largest in the league, looks vastly overated to me. We stuffed Barber all day and pressured the QB. Dallas turned the ball over and to our credit we capitalized on it and also scored touchdowns in the red zone. Let's keep it up G-Men.

7 and 1 never felt so good.

Doesn't it always feel special to beat that team?

How 'bout dem Giants?

Dominating performance by both d-line and o-line. They ran at will in the 2nd half and terrorized Bollinger.

Even with Romo Dallas would be overmatched. Eli was skittish and technically responsible for Dallas' points on TOs.
